The parish of Cherry Orchard is very committed to supporting practical integration of residents who are our neighbours but were born far away from Cherry Orchard.

Our community is like the United Nations blessed with people from every continent in the world. We are committed to:
- Being alert to the arrival of newcomers into our parish;
- Providing a meaningful welcome by as many people as possible to all newcomers;

- Offering attractive notice boards with relevant information and in different languages;
- Emphasising that our church is a church for all nations;
- Learning correctly the names of all those from overseas and helping them to feel at home in church;
- Using plain English in services as well as incorporating elements into worship from the countries represented in our parish;
- Incorporating hymns representing the diversity of our worship gatherings;
- Celebrating shared meals from different nations and celebrating national festivals;
- Developing relationships and understanding different perspectives;
- Encouraging the participation of newcomers in all projects and committees.

If you do not see your national flag here, please let us know and we will be happy to add it to this page.
