The Life Centre, Cherry Orchard is a project for Early School Leavers, run by the Christian Brothers.
The Centre caters for boys and girls between the ages of twelve and sixteen who have not made the transfer from primary to post primary, who have been excluded from school or who cannot cope with the mainstream school system
They are referred by schools, parents, social workers, educational welfare officers, juvenile liaison officers and others.
The Centre caters for a maximum of eight young people at a time and has a full-time core staff, assisted by part-time teachers and volunteers.
